Hello everyone, I’m Mike Frey, your host, I want to welcome you to my Bereavement Miracles program of recovery. The Bereavement Miracles program is a 12-step systematic approach to unity and hope when dealing with the loss of a loved-one. My intent of this 12-step program is to help our listeners begin their journey towards healing by way of developing fellowship and a relationship with Christ.
The word Miracles can be understood by the little changes in one’s life. What I mean by this is, as the program unfolds, you’ll notice signs that your life is becoming productive and that you can love again while still honoring the memory of your loved one. So when you do see a picture or remember a birth date, you’ll be able to smile or even chuckle because you believe, that you’ll be with your loved one again in heaven and that you do treasure the time you had together here on earth.
For an overview of how the program works, listen to this:
Starting on Monday, March 13, 2017, we'll be moving to a new live, call-in show format using FreeConferenceCall.com. The way it will work is this:
If you want to see Mike on video while you're talking with him, do this:
To begin, let's talk about the image below, called the Seal of Unity and Hope, which appears on my book Bereavement Miracles, 2nd Edition. The artist is my sister, Monica Ochenkowsky, who explained it on the "I Thought You'd Like to Know This, Too" show hosted by Bob Olson. Monica through private revelation was told by the Blessed Mother to draw this image and proclaim it to the world. Her show was recorded in two parts on February 22 and March 2, 2017. The audio files are below.
Now, for the program itself. If you haven't yet purchased the book, you may do so through the Bereavement Miracles page at En Route Books and Media.
If you'd like to know how to run your own program, listen to Mike's explanation on the "I Thought You'd Like to Know" show with Bob Olson.
The presentation of each of the steps may be found here below.
Bereavement Miracles Step 1
Bereavement Miracles Step 2
Bereavement Miracles Step 3
The reason why I developed Bereavement Miracles 12 step program is after the death of my sister Michele, I felt lost. I had a lot of confusion and many questions. I knew that faith could console me but I didn’t have any trust in my belief as well as I should have. So I decided to enrolled at Holy Apostles College and Seminary in Cromwell, CT, where I eventually graduated with a Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies. For many years God placed in my heart the idea of creating a 12 step program of recovery similar to Alcoholic Anonymous that would help others like me who are now struggling with the same kinds of grief and sorrow caused by the death of a loved one.
Bereavement Miracles Step 4
Bereavement Miracles Step 5
Bereavement Miracles Step 6
This program will answer questions that the listeners have such as: “why,” why did my loved-one have to die? Or why couldn’t God stop this from happening? We’ll talk about “how”, how should we go about unraveling grief and sorrow in the midst of pain and suffering, how can we get better even if we feel abandoned and heartbroken? And “who”, who can restore us back to sanity, happiness and joy, who is the cornerstone, who is the answer to all problems?
The Bereavement Miracles program is predicated upon living with the hope that we can and will love again. Our listeners will have the opportunity to call in and share their story on this live broadcast. At the end of each broadcast I will ask for prayers of petition from our listeners, followed by reciting the Our Father, a Hail Mary and a Glory Be.

Bereavement Miracles Step 9
I want to say, whether your loved-one’s death occurred by natural causes, suicide, a tragic accident or an act of violence, remember you are not alone…you are not to blame. The caring and sharing of this recovery program will restore you back to a productive and happy lifestyle but it will take time and effort. The secret to any recovery program, whether it’s AA, NA or any other kind of life group, is attending meetings regularly…in this case it would be listening regularly.

The slogan is “Meeting makers make it," and it’s true. If you have any comments or questions about the program and or would like to set up a Bereavement Miracles program in your local area, leave your post here and I'll answer all you concerns on this blog page. God bless you all, and remember God loves you and so do I.
In Christ, Mike.
